- Tom George, Principal Engineer - Wagstaff Piling
With the advent of the contractor led ground Engineering solutions, many structural engineers have little involvement in the design and implementation of footing solutions. Whilst many of these methods may be complicated, that does not mean the structural engineer does not need to know what is being specified and how it works.
Wagstaff Piling are a leading Australian ground engineering contractor having completed foundation solutions for many iconic Melbourne structures including Southern Cross Station and the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Tom George is a principle Engineer with Wagstaff Piling with decades of experience in the design and implementation of geotechnical solutions.
Please join us whilst Tom guides us through a refresher on piling solutions covering such topics as limitations, advantages /disadvantages of various piling methods, pile type selection and pile verification methods.
