Paul Dal Pra - Senior Project Manager, Grocon
The Parkville Precinct is recognised as a hub of healthcare, research and educational excellence, characterised by a cluster of research institutions and facilities such as the Royal Women’s Hospital, Bio21 Molecular Science and Biotechnology Centre, Peter Doherty Institute, the Royal Children’s hospital, the Walter & Eliza Hall Institute, the Howard Florey Institute and soon, the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre (VCCC). The VCCC Project is delivering a $1 billion facility purpose-built for cancer research, treatment, care and education in the Melbourne suburb of Parkville, Victoria The construction of the new centre is being undertaken by Grocon PCL.
The Speaker: Paul Dal Pra graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering from Swinburne University and has worked with Grocon on projects such as HMAS, 101 Collins T, ANZ Bank Building, Martin Place Sydney,380 Collins St, Eureka Tower and is now Senior Project Manager with Grocon PCL on this project.
Paul will share some of the construction issues associated with a project of this magnitude.
